I want to buy a new camera and I’m planning on getting a digital one. I’m wanting to get into photography more so I want a high quality one. The problem is, I don’t know much about photography at the moment so I don’t know what I should look for. There’s so many brands and models to choose from that it gets quite overwhelming. Any tips, suggestions, or recommendations are greatly appreciated

I am interested in learning photography. I am an amature now with 3 cameras. Minolta maxxum 7000, Sony Cybershot, and Nikon Coolpix S6. I want more professional looking photos, and I am interested in going to Medium and to Large Format cameras to acheive this. They all look so different. I think Hasselblad is the most common for fashion photographers, but will I need to go that strong for wedding and portait photography? I’ve checked out many sites, ebay included, but want advise before spending $$$ on the wrong outfit. Thanks.
