Why is everyone comparing Nikon cameras to Sony cameras?

Don’t they know Nikon is designing their sensor it’s only being made by Sony?

Why don’t they compare Hasselblad and Leica cameras to Kodak since Kodak is making sensors for them?
Edwin then why is the Pixel Density different Nikon D3X 2.8 MP/cm² and Sony A900 2.9 MP/cm²

My camera broke and is being fixed. I have the memory card and I’d like to put those pictures on there onto my laptop. I have a memory card slot, where I slide in my PNY memory card. But, when I put it in, the light lights and then does nothing. Is there a program I need to do this? I’ve done it before, using my old memory card, but now I have this new one, and it never has worked? Any help?

I’ve had a Sony F828 digital camera (8mp) for almost 2 years, but I haven’t a clue when it comes to all the manual settings on it. I tend to use the automatic mode. There’s speed priority, apperture, and loads of other modes.

Is iso 64 only to be used during the day, or can I use it during the night, what’s the main difference between say iso 64 and iso 800.

Any tips welcome, and any good sites where I can do some reading up would be great. Thanks
