Does anyone have a link for a user manual for a Sony A700 DSLR?
I lost mine. Also, if any users of the A700 have any opinions about it i’d love to hear them.
Can anyone advise whats best: Canon or Nikon…or Hasselblad or Mamiya for Dance Photography?
Obvioulsy the cost will be different…Im wanting to invest in a brand so I can expand accordingly. Im an amateur and dont know whats the best way to go about when my knowledge is soooo sooo limited. My main interest in Dance and People…so i understand the Shutter speed has got to be excellent….Im not clued up to whats great and whats not – though am trying…Ive talked to a few people…but their knowledge is also limited. I really dont want to be sold something thats not going to enable me to get the photos I want…any advice would be great. I am on a Budget…rangeing upto about 1 Grand…but am unsure as to what this can get me….I want to get a really good camera body…plus lenses etc. I know this is all abit vague…hence my asking for help…any particular brands or models etc would be great. Thanks!
Sorry – this is for a Digital SLR
Main function: Dance / Action/ People
Wow – thanks so much for the honest responses….
Perhaps abit more research and then off to check them out in the shop…
Im aware that Hasselblad & Mamiya are that extra bit expensive and perhaps more than I need….
I will check out what I can get even if over budget abit – at the end of the day – if I can capture the frame and not lose the moment…and of course be able to shoot in low light…then Im half way there! Thanks again and any more advice always welcome….
Cheers!
Anyone know much about G-Force on impact indicators?
We are putting impact indicators on our hasselblads at our rental facility, and the ones listed at mcmaster-carr are categorized by g-force sensitivity. on the items that are for single use, the items from 0-10 lbs have a default of 100 G, and i am wanting the resettable ones. does anyone know what i should get for a hasselblad camera. they are under 10lbs. i dont want it to be too sensitive so that we have to investigate when someone just bumps up aginst something.. but i need to know when an item is dropped. any suggestions?
you can see for yourself on:

Does anyone know a site with photo tips for the FUJIFILM FinePix A700 that shows you how to take the best pictures in daylight, night, action shots with that camera? If you could help that would be great, it just seems that when ever i take a picture its so detailed and sharp.

Canon EOS 40D Lenses…Can anyone recommend any good lenses? ?
I like macro photography, nature, and sports photography.
Does anyone know anything about the Nikon DSLR cameras?
I’m looking to purchase a DSLR camera and have done a lot of research. I think I’ve narrowed it down to the Nikon and am looking at the Nikon D60 kit with 18-135mm lens. Does anyone know anything about the D60? Is it significantly better than the D40? Any input would be very much appreciated!
Nikon D80.. best lenses.. anyone know?
I know nothing about digital slr cameras. My cousin is all about photography and will be graduating from high school in a few days. The whole family is going to pitch in to buy him a good camera and some good lenses.
We all agree to buy him the D80, but we would like to know which lenses to buy him.
We’ve heard him talk about macro lenses, portrait lenses, and photojournalism lenses. He takes pretty good pictures with his old camera, he actually shot his friend’s sister’s wedding with it and they turned out very nice… kind of professional looking.
Can anyone please suggest which lenses to buy him if he likes those types of photography? (Photojournalism, macro, wedding, portrait) Thank you very much!
Does anyone have any Broken Nikon DSLR’s they would like to give me?
I’m looking for any broken Nikon DSLR’s or lenses that I could use for parts. I’m in college and could really use some help. I really can’t afford to buy anything even used right now. Just looking to throw together a camera. And yes I can hear it already, “get a job kid” well i’ve got one it’s just that I’m paying for all of my schooling so I never have any cash left over for photography. Even if you don’t have a camera you could give me and ideas would be great! Thanks for the help.
Anyone have any tips on capturing spirits on camera?
I’m headed to a real castle here in Germany tonight and I hear it’s haunted. I’d like to take my camera with me but I’m not sure what setting i should put it on. Flash or no flash? Any certain areas where I should take pics?
Any tips at all to make my “adventure” a little more fun would be great.
p.s. I don’t want to hear any negativity that theres no such thing, I just want to have fun ![]()
