Break the rules by shooting without using the viewfinder
We’ve shown you how to use the rules of photography to expose images correctly and creatively. Now it’s time to show you how to use these skills alongside shooting without using the camera viewfinder to compose for a unique style of shooting that breaks the rules. In this video, Technique Writer James Abbott, shows you how to shoot fast moving subjects successfully without using the viewfinder, or Live View to compose shots. The reason for shooting this way is to get the lowest possible camera angles without laying on the ground, which would be very dangerous with the subject in this video.
