Canon 300D (or Digital Rebel in USA) shooting speed test. First time: 1 frame was shoot and Preview pressed — around 12 seconds wait time. Second time: 4 frames (maximum of 300D continuos shooting frames) were shoot and Preview pressed — around 33 seconds wait time.

In the pet aisle at Walgreens, we stumbled upon a laser pen that could morph its red light into multiple shapes including a star, butterfly, mouse, dot, and happy face. It looked like a convenient way for owners to play with their kitties without having to move around too much. It could also be a great way to encourage/trick kitty into using a scratching post by beaming the laser onto the post. For $4.99, we decided to give it a try. A part of scenario, which we decided to cut as a trailer. That’s my first tattemp in new video production pipeline – we used a DSLR Canon EOS 450D connected to laptop to record video stream, and a video camera with an external mic to record audio separatly. Lenses that were used while shooting – Canon 18-55mm 3.5-5.6 IS, Tamron 28-70mm 2.8 Note: everything was shot on 450D exept for the first two shots with a train and a walking guy. Music used – Bourne Supremacy OST
